Looking back over 2023, it’s the opportune moment for us at Fluent Technology to reflect on last year’s achievements and to share our excitement for what 2024 holds.

Last year was pivotal for us, marked by new feature releases, new recruits, and some rebranding. We’re looking forward to continuing this momentum this year – so, read on to find out what you can look forward to.  

EDI Functionality

A standout accomplishment of 2023 was the release of our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) tool, a monumental milestone for both our team and our valued customers.

The tool lets customers:

• Capture EDI data anonymously and securely, in compliance with the GDPR
• Track and monitor EDI targets
• Analyse demographics and characteristics of your users

The importance of capturing EDI data cannot be overstated; by understanding where funds are being allocated and identifying areas of underrepresentation, funders can become more proactive in future decisions. So, we’re delighted to be able to empower our users with this new tool.

In fact, we recently discussed our new release which improved on previous iterations of the EDI tool. With this update, we also added read-only access functionality, as requested by our customers. This provides an option for auditors or team members to view application statuses and data without having editing capabilities.

As we kick off 2024 and look ahead, we plan to introduce further iterations of this functionality. These updates will give funders even greater control and access to the vital information they need to make impactful and equitable decisions.

Our New Insights Tool

Due to the benefits of data visualisation (such as faster and more effective decision making, and more effective communication with stakeholders), we launched our Insights tool. Our customers are now in a better position than ever to leverage their data, and uncover hidden trends that can inform strategic decisions.

The Launch of Our New Website

2023 also marked a significant rebranding milestone with the launch of our new website. This was not just a redesign but the beginning of a new journey and a fresh page in Fluent Technology’s story. Our new website is more informative and better reflects our commitment to excellence in our products and services.

We hope that both our current and potential new clients find the website engaging and informative. It’s designed to be a resource for understanding the depth of what Fluent Technology offers, and we encourage everyone to explore it and reach out to discuss how we can best provide support.

Welcoming New Staff

We strive for continuous innovation, so we have reinvested in our core strengths by hiring a new Director of Technology, Zakee Baba. Known for his strong development track record and expertise in creating high-performing teams, Zak will oversee our technical strategy.

We have many exciting plans for our product roadmap and Zak will help accelerate the development of new features.

Our New Online Training

A major initiative we had been focusing on in 2023, and are excited to bring to our customers, is our online training program. This comprehensive, self-paced program will offer rigorous training, and participants will receive accreditation on completion.

The training is close to completion and we look forward to bringing it to our customers in the very near future, helping them make the most of our software and enhancing their efficiency and effectiveness in grant management.

Until then, check out our onboarding and training services. We offer a seven session training programme delivered by a member of the Flexigrant team. It ensures users are thoroughly up to speed with all of Flexigrant’s functionality, giving your organisation the best start possible.

Product Workshops

Looking further into the future, we aim to hold more product workshops. These sessions provide an avenue for customers to give direct feedback, helping us tailor our solutions to meet the diverse needs of a wider customer base.

Our customers’ insights are invaluable to us, so we’re looking forward to gaining more comprehensive feedback that we can incorporate into our continuous improvement process.

A Reminder About Our Newsletter and Community

We kindly remind all of our customers about our newsletter and encourage you to read it and stay up to date with any important announcements. Responding to requests for more communication about price changes, we have discussed this in our newsletter recently, helping everyone stay well-informed and prepared for any possible adjustments.

Our grant management community is also a great way to engage with us and other customers. You can watch webinars, view release notes to stay informed about the latest developments, ask and answer questions, and share best practises with other grant management professionals. We encourage you to explore the community to fully benefit from our software.

Configuration Reviews

We also launched our Configuration Review service in 2023. The service puts your super users in front of our implementation team to conduct a thorough examination of your current setup of Flexigrant. From there, we can identify how well your configuration aligns with your processes and goals, and provide recommendations for improvement.

We have a huge range of features available after 10+ years of development. So, if it’s been a few years since your initial implementation, we highly recommend such a review so you can be sure your team is getting the most out of the software.
